Presenza

You are never alone in a room. Around you, unheard until you listen, the air is full of movement — voices, footsteps, traffic through a window, the hum of a fridge. Presenza opens the microphone and develops that sound slowly, the way a plate develops the longer the room sits in front of it.

Each sound is pinned to a place of its own and pulls the field toward it by how loud it is — an insistent noise knots dark and tight, a distant murmur barely bends the light. A busy room blooms into dense, restless weather; a silent one stays almost blank. Nothing is invented: where the air is quiet, so is the plate.
