Polso
Step 1 — start tapping in the bar below ↓
How it works
Tap a beat · then press Draw
1. Tap the bar above at least 3 times, keeping a steady beat — your heartbeat, a knock, a favourite song. Click it or press the Space bar.
2. When it feels right, press Draw to finish. Your rhythm becomes this plate.
Only the gaps between your taps are kept — tap the same rhythm again and the same plate returns.
Polso
Tap a rhythm — a heartbeat you know, a knock, the ghost of a song. Polso listens to your hand and keeps nothing of the taps themselves: only the intervals between them survive.
Those gaps become a harmonograph — two decaying pendulums swinging on each axis, the old instrument that draws interference figures. Their ratios set its frequencies, your unevenness detunes it, your tempo decides how quickly it spirals to rest. The pen sweeps its broad opening loops warm, then cools to ink as it settles. Tap the same rhythm and the same plate returns; tap a different one and it never will.
